We have been with Hostgator for over a year now and there 24/7 customer support has been most valuable there is always someone to talk to and resolve any user generated issues.
There ticket system generates a valid response in 30mins to 1 hour and resolution normally in less than 3. We have purchased multiple swamp and domain packages from them and always found there service and efficiency to beat our expectations.
The only slight downside is that they are becoming more popular now and perhaps do not spend as long as they used to in resolving issues. But once again a very minor point.

” I intend for this to be a continuing post for me, to help others. I researched hosts for a week, comparing, asking, calling and emailing. It came down to lunarpages and hostgator.
The tie-breaker was hostgator’s mySQL limit, as in none. This gave me the flexibility to grow. I got the baby-croc, at $9.95.
I ordered and within minutes, I got my email with my DNS servers. login and IP address. I went and checked it out.
Setup seemed easy, using cpanel, I uploaded a file to set my index page (and for me to check when the DNS spread and it was visible).
I set up 4 email accounts, played with Horde and Spam Assassin.
I Yahoo messenger’d a tech who was online, and he answered my question very quickly.
It is the next day, and my ISP still shows the old DNS, but all esle is well.
By using a POP checker on my new mailserver (using IP), I see Spam Assassin has been 100% dead on, stopping 54 of 57 messages, with not a single miss in either direction. My wife’s account also had 100% accuracy, nailing 42 of 45. (Yes, the 3 in each case were the only good messages).
I then wondered what to do if Spam Assassin made a false positve, so I emailed tech support.
Got an autoresponder in minmutes, and an answer 5 minutes later. Great response, but sadly, spam assassin only let’s me whitelist a domain or email address. No per message control.
{an aside here - I use popfile at the client end, but I wanted a GREAT filter at the server so I can protect my daughter’s, and they never see the spam. So far, Spam Assassin MAY be up to this task. }
My site seems responsive (other than neomail), cpanel is quick and easy. So far so good. Now if the DNS would only kick in (it’s been about 15 hours, but I am impatient)

Well, in our example we need to host multiple websites (domains) because we have seven small stores around United State, I mean store A, store B, store C, etc websites; We want that every store has its our domain name because the stores are independents (some stores have products than others not).
As started earlier we have seven domains(seven stores). The average hosting account cost $10 per month. We are going to spend $70 a month on hosting. PocketBuster right?
